The Ourika Valley is a valley of the Moroccan High Atlas located 30 km from Marrakech. It is mainly populated by people of Berber language and Chleuh dialect. Despite its proximity to Marrakech, it is still considered a relatively preserved valley, both in its nature and its traditional mountain lifestyle. Urika is the name of one of the Masmudas tribes, described by Ibn Khaldoun.
- Setti-Fatma: last douar accessible by paved road, this small village is the starting point for many excursions in the nearby mountains. His visit is the most interesting from late October to mid-November when harvesting this spice. - Bio-aromatic garden of Ourika: this organic garden of aromatic and medicinal plants allows to discover the scents and medicinal virtues of plants. - Berber Ecomuseum of the Ourika Valley: Ecomuseum located in the pottery village of Tafza. It highlights the Berber culture through a collection of photographs, pottery, jewelry, carpets and weavings.
